Cover Songs as an Ensemble

I feel that our cover songs as an ensemble went well. I feel this way because kept kept true to the original versions, an example of how we did this is on welcome to paradise we had distorted guitar with increased treble where as on boys don't cry we used the neck pick up and softer bass in order to keep true to the original songs. However the issue we had is that as there was only 3 of us we didn't have a singer. Luckily we asked Henry our Learning mentor if he could sing Teenage Kicks for us and he did.  Therefore overall i feel our work as an ensemble and our actual performances went very well. Another issue i had was with our cover of Jailhouse Rock, this is because i was unable to sing the song. I am not a confident singer and for me to have to sing a song like elvis was very difficult. If i was to do this again i would either ask another student to sing for us or choose songs that were in our vocal range.
