looking back on my performance I feel it went really well and I managed to carry the performance all the way through. I feel this was mainly due to the large amount of rehearsal time and practice I put in towards it. After the event I was given feedback about how I performed. In the feedback it was said that the show I set up was set up correctly and safely to a good standard. I feel that this is because I took time to plan out what I needed on stage for my set and how to utilise the equipment safely such as making sure leads weren't in the was and that there was no risk of electric shock or injuries.

I feel my persona and stage presence during the show was good as I managed to interact with both band members and the audience. This made the show fun to watch overall as it made the crowd feel like part of the show. The feedback I received reported that performed with a cheeky style however if there were mistakes it appeared modest. This therefore caused the show to be interesting to watch  and didn't draw attention to mistakes.

The reason I chose the songs that I did was because it demonstrated a wide arrange of different genres and skills. Such as high tempo thrasher songs like debaser to mellow slowed down relaxed songs like "where is my mind." This also gives a good feel to the audience as it allowed for them to react differently to each song and set a mood for the venue. Due to the change in styles and mood I feel that it made the audience be able to  see a range of my talent and to see how my stage presence changes with each type of song. Personally I like to interact with the audience and try to replicate the emotion of the song with how I'm playing for example a sad song I don't move too much and tend to stay rather still. where as a song with high energy I use a lot of energy to move around the stage and my body a lot whilst interacting with the audience with things such as points and direct eye contact.

My weakness with my stage performance is when it comes to playing solos I become very focussed in what I'm ding and lose the engagement with the audience. I feel I need to be more confident playing solos so that I can continue the energy through out the whole set.

I chose to perform as a band rather than solo as I feel more comfortable playing in a band as opposed to solo with a backing track. I think this is because It means I can interact with my band members and demonstrate a form of chemistry to the audience. Alongside playing in a band I also prefer to play in bigger venues as there is more room to move around and you can create more of a show vibe as opposed to a show. this is due to each member in the band having more space and not bumping into each other.
