Evaluation of my presantation

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXmyR-oQ-LY&feature=youtu.be

This is a link to my presentation. Overall I feel my presentation had a number of  both pros and cons, for example I feel my confidence for talking in front of people was very good and I sounded clear. this is good as it means my audience are able to understand the points i'm making and they can hear everything I have to say as opposed to muffling and stuttering due to nerves. however I feel I could have interacted with the audience and asked questions and answered the questions I was asked in more detail to show my knowledge and understanding that I learnt from my research. I feel that my presentation would have been better if I sounded more enthusiastic when talking and if I didn't just read straight off my powerpoint.

With the actual information I had in my presentation I think that the information I had on how music has changed and how music sounds. I did this well by talking about sounds and effects used such as clean guitars, distortion, synthesisers, etc... However I feel I should have talked more about different recording techniques such as multi track recording and single track recording. One thing I did that nobody else did was talk about how stage presence changed across the decades and among different genres. For example punk gigs had rough crowds and mosh pits where as at pop concerts people would dance and sing.

Another good thing about my presentation is that at the end I had a slide about my personal views and preferences for which music I like and why. For example I like punk as the lyrics have meaning and the songs are relatable. I also prefer the sound of an overdriven guitar as opposed to a clean sound. However I feel if I talked about what I had learnt from doing this assignment it may have added to my presentation giving it a little boost.
