Practice Diary 6

Today instead of practicing at home like usual i played a gig with my band. We played at a bar in Worthing and ran through a set list of cover songs. Some of the songs we covered were: Basket Case- Green day, I fought the law- The clash, Sabotage-Beastie boys and story of my life-Social Distortion. Gigging in front of an audience gave me a brand new experience. It made me practice my stage presence as well as working as an ensemble. These two skills are very important in music as for example an audience as well as listening to the music also want something to watch hence a good stage presence.  Since this gig i have been alot more confident whilst playing guitar and i feel that the skills learnt were very benficial.
